I was killing time on an addictive site titled Stumbleupon.com and 'stumbled upon' this online visual personality test found on this site: http://designbyadrian.com/96pix/
Its unbelievable how accurate it came out! There is a lot of buzz about personality test, in the sense that do they come out right because that's how you invision yourself or who you want to be vs is that actually you. Regardless the test was fun an takes about 5 min. I encourage you guys to check it out! :)

I really enjoyed the September issue of InStyle in which they would show the wardrobes of the Kardashian sisters. My favorite closet was Kloe's.I am a huge fan of Kloe Kardashian. I love her style and how she always wears the nicest heals and always carries amazing bags. Her wardrobe really defines her unique style and personality.

African Fashion Week NY

Hi everyone,

I would like to present to you the African Fashion Week of New York. This special event has been created during the summer of 2010. This event became such a success that the New York Mayor, Mr. Bloomberg officialised the second week of July as the cities official African Week.

Africa is full of resources and talents. The event founder and also the Adiree Fashion Agency founder, Mrs Adiat Disu decided to create it to show a side of Africa that most of the people don’t know about.  It also helps to promote African designers with their unique style and colourful fabrics.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to participate in it yet, but it’s always interesting to discover it more by the website. I suggest you to go look around!

Simply polished for Fall 2011

I tell you, i am hooked on these nail trends. :) I have tried most of them: so from regular nail polishes to matte finishes or the 'Katy Perry' Shatter finishes, i love it all!

Top nail trends so far are:

• Special effects (such as matte, suede, shatter/crackle)

• Metallic finishes
• Tailored tips (your nail polish doesn't chip as fast!)
• Neon Schocks
• Harajuku Glam
• Pretty Pastels
• Stickers (those Sally Hansen patterns for example) 

Tips: 
Always apply a base coat if you wish to apply darker colors, because it will definitely help you avoid staining your nails.
And if you like, purchase the Essie Top Coat (best product so far) to apply on your finishes, it really keeps them from chipping for at least 2 weeks.

This mash-up always gets me pumped up to go out, and since it's saturday...I thought you guys would appreciate haha.

Also, I've been listening to Florence and the Machine's newest "What The Water Gave Me" (to listen to on your hangover tomorrow...). I love the way the video captures Florence's recording sessions, it really shows how she's completely immersed into her music and makes me like her 100000 times more.  I'd also suggest you watch her acoustic sessions ("Cosmic Love" and "Drumming Song" are my favourite) on KEXP youtube if you're a Florence and the Machine fan, her voice is so powerful.
