This is a photo of the setup of this year's Bal du Musee d'Art Contemporain.  I thought it was an interesting idea to integrate swings to the decor, giving the space a very circus feel to it.

This is a song I thought fitted the feel of our event.  It's by Cocorosie, two sisters who are always pushing boundaries and have creepy voices.

Melancholia, a movie to watch.

If you're in a dark mood and want a movie to distract you for 2 hours, well I have streamed this movie from the Cannes film festival called Melancholia and would definitely recommend it.  Every shot is a beautifully sad picture, and the story revolves around two sisters and the end of the world.  I also enjoyed the classical soundtrack, it gave a dramatic tone to the movie.

 Directed by the Danish Lars Von Trier and featuring Kirsten Dunst (she won Best Actress for her role in it) and Charlotte Gainsbourg (who was also in his other movie Antichrist which I plan to see).

Party song & song of the moment

This mash-up always gets me pumped up to go out, and since it's saturday...I thought you guys would appreciate haha.

Also, I've been listening to Florence and the Machine's newest "What The Water Gave Me" (to listen to on your hangover tomorrow...). I love the way the video captures Florence's recording sessions, it really shows how she's completely immersed into her music and makes me like her 100000 times more.  I'd also suggest you watch her acoustic sessions ("Cosmic Love" and "Drumming Song" are my favourite) on KEXP youtube if you're a Florence and the Machine fan, her voice is so powerful.

Song of the moment: Future Islands' "Balance"

My friend showed me this video not too long ago, and it's been on replay for a couple of days now. 
I love the cinematography of this video and especially the story that goes on between the two characters.  It was directed by Jay Buim and he's made one more music video for Future Islands.  He uses a lot of beautiful and dreamy still photography in his videos, which I like a lot.
