Type of Mask

This mask can give us an idea on what else we can do. It looks like those doctor masks patients, nurses and doctors wear in hospitals, but can also be created differently in a fashion way. We can find different inspirations of masks by the things that surround us everyday.

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus

I love how Johnny Depp is wearing a big mask around his neck in this scene. It evokes a circusy feel. I also thought we could always exchange the mask with a huge bow tie; it's also related to circus. I as well enjoy the checkered effect in the background; we could use this for our runway.

Fake lashes

There's a new collection of fake lashes at Make Up Forever, maybe we can ask them to sponsor?

Maquillage du Soleil

Here are more circus-inspired make-up and hair. I love how the first few pictures held balloons, a cone hat and a hula hoop!

Corpse bride

These are bridal photographies that i've found online, however, i can picture them with darker colors and more exaggerated make-up. I really like how their hair is set.

The Greatest Show on Earth

I was really inspired by this circus themed editorial from Vogue Italia, april 2007. The images are so fun and dynamic, I especially love the photo with the daggers thrown at the girl tied to the wheel and the one on the wooden horse!

Photographed by Steven Meisel, model Karen Elson.

Accessory Report: Imaginarium Turbans

Based on viewing the film, I was inspired by the turban that Dr.Parnassus was wearing. I have researched who in the fashion world has used turbans recently, and found that Prada accessorized their models for the S/S 2007 Collection.  Possibly an interesting way to adorn our models.
